I made a few mods to my 1936 cab.... i took the back off and tightened the screws that hold the baffle board down.... then got some sealer and sealed around the edges of the baffle. Then i tightened down the speakers equally but not too tight.
This might not sound like much, but for only half and hours work it gave the cab a more thunderous tone with more bottom end.
Im looking at getting a 4*12 1960ax they sweeter than sweet!!! haha
