I'll chip in there if you like.
There is a full 15 watts of clean headroom on the normal channel. With a single coil, this will be at between 4 and 6 on the volume control, dependent on different guitars and playing styles.
With a high output humbucking guitar like that used on the video, the level on the volume control is lower, but is still a full 15 watts of clean.
In this way, the channel is quite like a standard 4 hole vintage head for gain. Because of this, there is plenty of power amp overdrive available. After all, why buy a 15 watt head? It's to get cranked amp tones at a level where the audience, venue owner, next door neighbours (delete as applicable) don't complain (too much).
