FX are cool - it remembers the FX settings with the channel change.
It' cool to have an amp you can dime and not be too loud.
I thought the head/cabs had a fuller-thicker sound than the combo. I liked the features of the combo - 40 watts, fx loop, boost and presence. But I like mini-stacks so I had to go with the head/cabs option.

So to be clear, you are saying you like the overall sound of the 15 watt 6V6 head (and stack) over the 40 watt EL34 combo. It will be interesting to see how they compete against each other. The last time I was selling NOS 6V6's, Steelhorse acted as if I was spreading polio. Looks like he got over it after hearing your report. 6V6's rule my friends. They are little 6L6's with a big warm heart.
