I own a VFX 5212 combo which i really dig. The clean channel is great. It's pretty comparable to my fender blues jr. The dirty channel is probably the best part since the EL34 tubes just grind when you crank it past 7 or so. It does not color the guitar tone either so i think it's a pretty good tube amp at a reasonable price. I hope this info. helps. Rock on.
