Plus the album art just isn't the same on CD, I can remember sitting listing to my latest LP and studying the cover endlessly... and double albums were so cool :-)
On the downside, I don't know how many albums I scratched and ruined trying to learn guitar parts by lifting the needle back a few groves.... again...and again..and again..
Then I got one of those new fangled cassette players.... god I'm old
