I don't have anybody to jam with, not here at least. Closest people I jam with are in Warrnambool (Other side of the state, like 6 hours away) and bringing all my gear there is just pointless.
And yeah, the hartke is a 4x10, great sounding head, would be good if the speakers didn't sound terrible.
I'm not too phased about changing the speakers at the moment, as it's my mums bf's amp, maybe sometime soon I'll consider buying it off him and changing the speakers. But I'm more interested in getting an Ampeg valve amp or a Marshall VBA400.
The thing I'm most worried about is having to switch the cable between the two amps all the time, I can just see me forgetting to change it over one day, and disaster.
But yeah, I'm not a big bass player, this is my first bass, so I wont worry too much about getting things perfect.
Edit: I can't see those Deltalites on the website.
IF not them, what else can you recommend that has a good Megadeth kinda tone or Faith no More sound.
That's basically the tone I'm chasing. Except maybe a bit more lively and twangy
