I had a G12K-85 for a while. It is a precursor to the 100w version. Its a very good speaker with tons of low end. The mids are flat i.e. no emphasis in the mids, which can be good. The high end is detailed.

They were never a standard speaker in the JCM900 cab.

the JCM800 cabs came with G12M-70, G12-65 or G12T-75 speakers.
